On past flights I've sat in 16A, 17D and this time in 19D and have to say that 19D was the best by far. Food was OK, service was good.

Seat 32 D is a standard Economy Class seat. I have a feeling that the recline may be impeded only slightly from the bulkhead behind; comparison with 22G across the aisle seemed comparible, but I could not feel any gap between the seat and the bulkhead when reclined. Poor experience with AA. The config and foot rest "pedals" alone make it worth the modest seat upgrade fee. Meal tray is bigger than tray table making eating difficult. Good recline, and I loved the large IFE screen. DEF seats had people climbing over during the flight to change aisles. There's also a mini bin directly overhead which I had to myself. MCE section definitely worth the extra bucks! Seat 43 J is a standard Economy Class seat located in the last row of the forward Economy Class cabin. Great recline too. Do you know this plane? Specific to this seat, 1.

In 33J not only will you be bumped repeatedly by passengers and crew, so will your video screen and you'll have to reposition it every time. This is AA's American Way to appreciate economy customers! The toilets weren't too close so there weren't many people lingering in front of me. It's a shame that there is this trade of with people going in front of you all during the flight. You feel like your part of first class. It is very noisy so impossible to get rest without using the BOSE noise cancelling headphones which are excellent. Not cramped, easy access to restroom, one of the first people fed, dark, reclines, good room for feet. Padding was thin and relatively uncomfortable. Another problem I always have with American is the seat width. Seat 10 L is a United Polaris open-suite. This seat should have an alert. Absolutely no room to move or eat, and my TV screen was hard to see at recline angle. Overall, the experience was much less pleasent than on the US Airways now also American flight I took a few days earlier from LHR to CLT, which was a A with a slighty older entertainment system still same movie selection but with much more leg room. Lots of storage. I like that the s give you an additional air control if you want it, I like a lille air circulation when I sleep.
