The most popular of these characters include the likes of Autobot leader Optimus Primeas well as several other different Cybertronians. Beyond the Autobots and Decepticons, however, there are several other groups of Transformers that more casual fans might be unaware of. Ever since the days of Generation 1, the main Transformers allegiances have hosted various subgroups, autobots and decepticons.
