Escape to the Chateau star Angel Strawbridge has shared a new update on her children Arthur and Dorothy upon returning to their 19th-century French abode following some "time away".

They wrote on Facebook last week: "It's been a whole week since the Strawbridges arrived in Australia for their "Dare to do it" tour. So far, they've visited Perth and Brisbane and met so many of the lovely Chateau community and had a chance to explore! Soon they'll be heading to Sydney.

The Strawbridges had plenty to celebrate over Easter as Angel turned 44 on Thursday and daughter Dorothy turned eight the following day. Dick insisted that the young children were not spoilt at all and that they already knew the values of working for what you have. He said: "This is ridiculous. Those values and the things that we do, they are very aware of that. Angel also jumped in to make it known that although the family do live in a large home, her two children share a "relatively small" room and that only one bathroom gets used by the family.
