Pagina din magazin. Here is how you do it: Catch a hyaenodon and throw it in your taming pen. Now place a wooden cage and herd it into it. Since it is now frightened and wants to flee, move outside of its view distance so it calms down. If you accidently spook it just leave the render distance again to calm it down again. Now put your ghillie suit on and approach the cage in a crouched position. At first it will move and turn around in the cage, but it will not take long untill it gets itself stuck. Take some time, since it will only get percent for each cuddle. The hardest task is to not fall asleep, because it is rather boring. As you can see in the following pictures, it never moved away from this stuck position the entire process, so it is really easy to do. I plan to wait to see if they get tweaked. I pet one, leave the area, come back 10 minutes later and the bastard is still freaking out.

So I have been playing around on my own single player server after quiting official and read a while back on a previous topic that hyaenodons would be a great tame for going caving with especially since any caving I would do now would be solo. So I tamed up a male and some lower level females, and started breeding. Nothing special, no stat mutations but did get a single colour mutation yellow fur so now have myself Gold squadron, 5 imprinted hyaendodons Gold 1 through 5 planning on more , with the idea of caving with them with my baryoynx. Took them out for a spin last night to see how they would fair just out and about, mauling anything I could find, started on parasaurs and moved up to brontos. Now for the bit that got me excited, ended up taking on a lvl 80 alpha raptor after tip toing around it, was sure it would annihilate my pack. Absolutely shredded it, lost little to no health.

Hyaenodon Dirus is an opportunistic carnivore the appeared in the late Eocene to early Miocene. The Hyaenodon resembles an average sized dog that has tiger stripes much like modern day hyenas. In the wild, Hyaenodon are usually seen in packs of 3 or 5 when hunting or scavenging wounded creatures. Hyaenodon will attack humans and other creatures when in groups but will run away when they are few in numbers. Usually kept as pets, Hyaenodon are used as guard dogs by some tribes protecting the settlement from threats or as meat storage while hunting. Hyaenodons are considered one of the more intelligent creatures of the land, only taking down prey that it considers to be a lesser risk. Being as they are Vicious hunters, Hyaenodon hunt and kill creatures that it knows it can kill easily, relentlessly attacking while digesting meat for energy as it bites it off the flesh of its victim.

The Hyaenodon is a very intelligent predator: before engaging, it determines if the payoff for a fight is worth the risk of injury. Hyaenodon often prefer not to fight unless there is already weakened prey nearby, or a fresh carcass. This temperament changes quickly, thought, near the presence of injured or dying creatures. Hyaenodon quickly becomes very aggressive, and the pack attacks with ruthless abandon. With each vicious chomp of scavenged meat, the Hyaenodon rapidly recovers health and stamina.
