In order for it to be controlled by expressions, each dot needs to exist separately and have a corresponding opacity property stream. Eventually i'm going to animate another solid white text layer over the top so the final result is just a white text layer but i'd like to be able to see a few colours coming through as it animates on. At the moment i've got one layer that is red with the letters randomly fading up. A second blue layer offset and then the third layer - the white text randomly fading off to finish. So bascally I had finsihed my project and was ready to export, I exported my clip and in the renderd video file there was random black spaces where clips where supposed to be. This was stange because when I looked at my compstion in after effecfts every thing was fine. I spent all day messing around with settings to see what would work and then I tried changing the fast previews from fast draft which was what I had it on to off final quailty. When I did this my compstion in after effecfts looked the same as it did in the final render with black screens where I had clips. I have checked the source clip and it is fine but when in after effcfts certain parts are black. I only have a couple of days before my projects due so it would be great if I could get a soultion ASAP. Iv fixed the problem.

Hi, I'm looking to create a looping animation that randomly selects images to appear in a set position - no scaling or moving, purely images that will randomly replace each other. In this instance I have 20 faces, all the same size. The idea is for the faces to constantly change and be randomly replaced by one of the other faces, in an endless loop.
