Debbie Sargeant. Arianna Kuhn. Easy quad trail to follow, not too steep. Lovely trail, very dog friendly. If walking your dogs, no water past 2 km. They came up behind the weigh scales just passed the rest area. We saw a cougar run across the trail pretty close to us and it went behind a small ridge on the higher side of the trail. Nice and easy hike with few patches of deeper snow near the top, that made it for a good workout!

The gate to the parking lot was closed but we were able to pull into the turnoff as there was enough room, the snow had been cleared, so we parked there.
