View Full Version : horrible mileage. I have a hardbody 4 cyl 5 speed and I am averaging 15 mpg with a mixture of city and highway driving. Is your parking brake on?
Why so many reports of low mpg? How I improved my mpg and HP. Exhaust is factory manifold going to the Flow Master original 40 series muffler. Both O2 and MAF sensors are new and working great. Odometer reading is accurate and tested against multiple GPS devices. Despite mixed reviews on the E3 spark plugs, I had some parts for an older vehicle I had bought from AAP I had to exchange, so I figured what the heck, I'm going to try these plugs - Let me just say, ignore the negative reviews. You will notice an instant increase in throttle response, low end torque, and horsepower.
