Obviously it depends on the local municipality but in almost all areas, the "no permit sq ft" code applies to accessory buildings - you need to have a main building on the lot. I plan on building a garage with living quarters in the next years so the shed with sleeping quarters would only be used seasons for temporary accommodations. Your thoughts????
