I always forget how many forgettable and failed YA adaptations the success of Harry Potter spawned in the past 15 years. The Seeker is by no means the worst of the bunch but it's another highly derivative, convoluted and uninspired adaptation. I haven't read the books so I can't really comment on how much this deviates from them but it's still really dull and feels pretty rushed. Good cast but this is already fading from my memory. Incredibly dumb, and mostly bad. However most of it is highly entertaining and a very fun time.
