Hafan y Mor is near Pwllheli and quite far from us in Surrey, so we broke up the journey with a little break in Birmingham — a lovely excuse to extend our time away! As soon as we arrived at the Haven site we were excited. Check in was smooth, being given a time slot to arrive prior to our arrival, and as we drove to our accommodation we saw a glimpse of the activities on offer, the swimming pool slides and just the vastness of Haven Hafan y Mor. It was on a quiet road with a few other caravans of the same style and a parking space right outside.

Firstly, this trip had involved very little research and planning totally out of my comfort zone but we had a deadline to get it booked. It was light, modern, spacious and had everything we needed. Yes… actual teeth which we found quite revolting. The layout gave us plenty of space in the living area and kitchen and the bedrooms were at the back. We were able to shut both the bedroom doors and the door leading to the bedrooms to block out the noise from the television after the children had gone to bed. To prevent our youngest from falling out of the bed, we moved the set of drawers from in between the beds and pushed the beds together. The youngest slept on the side next to the wall and we put the extra pillows on the floor the other side just in case our eldest fell out. Ok, so no WiFi can be a good thing — it stops you from sitting there on your phone instead of spending time with your family, but I struggle without my main source of information. The location was great for exploring nearby coastal towns and villages. The holiday park is right on the coast so you can walk to the beach; or within min drive, Pwllheli, Abersoch, Criccieth, Black Rock Sands and Borth-y-Gest all have beautiful, sandy beaches. I intended on doing a few short walks our 5 year old can walk about 5 miles and we have a child carrier for our nearly 2 year old but the sunny weather enticed us to the beaches. The swimming facilities are amazing and perfect for kids of all ages. There are plenty of splash pools and jets for babies and toddlers, but also slides, flumes and a wave pool for older children and adults. We found that most people went swimming first thing.

Reviewer: Boltonpete It does get busy though. As you would expect on a site of this size it had pizza shops, burger kings etc etc all of which seemed well run and clean enough. I expected a launderette but that was right over the other side of the site - a long walk away. Next to your awning is a nice grass area too for sitting out on so I actually felt like the pitches were quite spacious and not on top of each other. Numbers are limited in the indoor pool so we did have to queue at times but this is really well managed. Notify me of new posts by email. Wardens very friendly. Home Log in or Register. Photos 6. Toilet block kept very clean. The plaza was also modernized, and new ropeworks in the forest established. In the evening there was bingo on each night in The Boardwalk and a variety of different shows and fun and games in the Cove Showbar. The rooms were clean but very small.

I apologise, but, in my opinion, this theme is not so actual.
It is a pity, that now I can not express - it is very occupied. But I will be released - I will necessarily write that I think.
