Gin Ichimaru is one of Bleach 's most iconic characters, even long after his death at the end of the "Arrancar" arc. He lives under the label of traitor just to have a chance at defeating Sosuke Aizen and retrieving what is stolen from Rangiku. Needless to say, despite all his efforts, Gin's plan fails massively. However, that doesn't mean he is a weak character in any way. After all, Gin was able to be a squad member because of his exceptional skills and high level of spiritual energy.
