The Parent and Tot swimming classes aim to familiarise children and infants with the aquatic environment. Our program promotes water confidence and swimming skills through participation in a wide variety of aquatic activities using songs, games, and play and is suitable for children aged 4 months to 3 years old. In these early stages the main emphasis in the baby swimming classes is on water confidence and spatial awareness, leading on to buoyancy awareness and an introduction to propulsive movement. Pool games and fun songs are often used, helping babies to be happy and relaxed in the water environment.
